Farewell to our first Editor-in-Chief

With great sadness, we inform you that one of the founders of our journal, its first Editor-in-Chief and current research integrity editor, Ivica Kuzmanić, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2023. At the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Split, a commemoration was held on Thursday, March 23, 2023. The list of his works and papers is available on: CROSBI, Google Scholar, Scopus, and WoS.

In this issue, we explore cutting-edge topics in maritime law, which include trade, military, and labour issues. Also, the leading papers include current AI limits in situation awareness and human control. This ToMS issue explores frontiers in current maritime logistics, featuring seven papers that each tackle this subject in their own way.

As  always,  we  have  continued  to  promote  the  Croatian  historical  and  cultural  heritage  by  publishing poems and songs in dialects, primarily those pertaining to the Croatian Adriatic coast and its islands.
