You have before you the twelfth issue of the internationally double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal Transactions on Maritime Science. It is published by the Faculty of Maritime Studies of the University of Split. We are exceptionally pleased, and we take great pride in the fact that we have been admitted to the prestigious Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index) list of journals. This issue brings seven papers from several scientific areas.The number of authors who have contributed with their papers is fifteen. We are exceptionally pleased because this issue contains four articles written by foreign scholars.
